Antenna design
We design mobile communication antennas from the 824 MHz band to the 1.9 GHz band, verifying band, VSWR and impedance against specification.
LMA · SIMA · DIMA processes
Laser plating, insert molding, double insert molding. We have built the same antenna across three generations of process.
NFC antennas
Near-field communication antennas for payment, transit cards and IoT. We own test equipment that meets European and North American standards.
Wireless charging
Invested since 2011. WPC Qi and AirFuel magnetic-resonance standards work, Qualcomm WiPower certification.
Combo antennas
We develop antennas that combine NFC and wireless charging in one, without giving up performance on either side.

Design
The shape of the line sets the performance
Band, VSWR and impedance are decided on the drawing. KOMATECH draws that drawing and holds the same values through mass production.

Process
The same antenna, built differently across three generations
LMA Laser Manufacturing Antenna
A plating pattern is drawn on PC resin by laser. A patented plating solution keeps performance while lowering cost.
SIMA Single Insert Mold Antenna
Insert molding seats a stainless-steel pattern directly in PC. It fits 3D shapes and thin devices.
DIMA Double Insert Mold Antenna
A thin PC overmold covers the pattern. The antenna becomes the device's exterior, so no separate cover is needed.
